HSE Policy

It is DAKOTELIN’s HSE and SECURITY Policy that all its activities are planned and executed in a manner that:

* preserves the health, safety and security of employees and all members of the public who may be affected by DAKOTELIN’s operations.

* curtail the impact of its operations on the environment

* is sensitive to the need and concern of DAKOTELIN’s Sub-Contractors and Host Communities.

To achieve the above objectives, it is the intent of Dakotelin to ensure that responsibilities for health, safety and security matters are effectively assigned, understood and accepted at all levels within the company organisational structure.

Dakotelin will, so far as is reasonably practicable, ensure that:

Adequate resources are provided to ensure that proper provision is made for health, safety, security and environment.

risk assessments are carried out and periodically reviewed

Systems of work are provided and maintained that are safe and without risks to health of personnel.

Arrangements for use, handling, storage, and transport of articles and substances for use at work are safe and without risks to health

All employees are provided with such information, instruction, training and supervision as is necessary to secure their safety and health  at work and the safety of others who may be affected by their actions

The provision and maintenance of all machinery and equipment that are safe and without risks to health of personnel.

The working environment of all employees is safe and without risks to health and that adequate provision is made for a conducive working environment.

The place of work is safe and that there is safe access to and egress from the work place

Activities are monitored regularly to maintain agreed standards.

In support of this Policy, Dakotelin employees are made to understand that they also have a statutory duty to take care of themselves and others who may be affected by their acts or omissions.
